A national anonymous survey on the demands of work and what makes carrying it out difficult day to day.
Anonymous questionnaire · Duration: 10 minutes
Part of the workforce works with chronic or invisible conditions (indicatively and not exhaustively: autoimmune diseases, cancer survivorship, chronic pain, neurodivergence, hearing loss, mental fatigue, burnout and others). Conditions that are not visible in the workplace, yet shape the way work is carried out.
This survey examines the demands of the work and the extent to which they adapt to the needs of the people carrying it out.
The survey examines six axes:
Body posture, handling of loads, workplace conditions, adequacy of breaks.
Duration of concentration, retention of information, parallel tasks, decision-making under time pressure.
Schedule stability, shifts, flexibility, cover of duties during absence.
Managing demanding interlocutors, participation in meetings, setting boundaries, recovery after conflict.
Ability to request adjustments, responsiveness of management, sense of safety in expressing difficulty.
Working under reduced functioning, changes in pace or volume, effect on quality, intention to leave.
The survey does not collect diagnoses, symptoms, medication or medical history. It is not an individual assessment, medical, psychological or otherwise, and produces no individual report.
Its subject is the work, not the person.
No name, email address or company name is requested. Neither connection address nor device details are recorded.
Only region, sector, age band, gender, education level, hierarchical level and employment type are collected, at a level of detail that does not permit identification.
No response can be linked to any person.
Participation is voluntary. Participants may stop at any time, without consequence and without stating a reason. No answer is stored before final submission.
Some statements concern difficulties at work and may bring participants into contact with unpleasant experiences. Every statement offers a "Does not apply" option, for anything that does not concern them or that they prefer not to answer.
Participation is open to employees aged 18 and over. Before starting, explicit confirmation is requested that the information has been read.
As no identifying details are held, answers cannot be retrieved or deleted after submission. For questions about the survey: hello@iwop.gr
The survey is conducted by IWOP, Institute for Work & Organizational Psychology, in partnership with H.A.N.D.S., the Hellenic Society for Autoimmune and Neuropsychological Diseases.
Results are published in aggregate and by sector, on a quarterly basis, on the websites of both organisations, provided the number of responses is sufficient to rule out any correlation with individuals.
The aim is to inform targeted training interventions and improve working conditions, at sector and national level.
Completion takes about ten minutes. The greater the number of participants, the more reliable the findings.
